Frequently Asked Questions
Got a question about FlashFox? You might find the answer here.
What is FlashFox?
FlashFox is an ad-free quiz and flashcard app built around learning interesting things a little at a time. You can play quizzes, work through learning decks, discover Daily Facts, complete the Daily Quiz, earn badges and unlock rewards along the way.
Is FlashFox free?
Yes! FlashFox has plenty of free content, including Daily Quiz, Daily Facts and free learning decks. The goal is to keep daily learning free forever, while continuing to add both free and premium content as FlashFox grows.
Are there ads?
No! We hate ads, and they're getting harder and harder to avoid, so we're making FlashFox a completely ad-free sanctuary. We want you learning, not closing pop-ups.
Do you sell my data?
No. FlashFox does not sell your personal data, and that isn't part of how we plan to make money.
If I buy a deck, do I actually own it?
Yep. Paid decks are one-time purchases, and once you buy one, it's yours forever.
What if more cards get added to a deck I already bought?
You still get them. If we add more content to that same deck later, you won't need to buy it again.
Do I need Premium to keep a deck I bought?
No. Anything you purchase permanently stays yours whether you have Premium or not.
Is Premium coming?
Yes! Premium is planned for later, once there's enough content and extra features to make it genuinely worthwhile.
Premium will include things like access to every premium deck while your subscription is active, a Daily Quiz calendar where you can go back and play previous Daily Quizzes, extra badges, Time Trial mode, and more features as FlashFox grows.
Anything you've already purchased permanently stays yours, even if you cancel Premium later.
Will I need Premium to use FlashFox?
No. Premium will be optional. The free side of FlashFox will continue to be an important part of the app.
Will new content be added?
Absolutely. The plan is to keep growing FlashFox with new free decks, new premium decks, new Daily Quiz and Daily Fact content, new badges, new ways to play and bigger features over time.
We want FlashFox to feel like there's always something new to learn, unlock or come back for.
Will you keep adding free content too?
Yes. Paid content will grow over time, but free learning is a core part of what FlashFox is meant to be.
How can I support FlashFox?
Honestly, just using FlashFox and sharing it with a friend is already a huge help, and it's genuinely appreciated.
Following us, liking or sharing our posts, or telling someone about the app helps more than you might think.
And if FlashFox has been useful to you and you ever want to support the project directly, you can do that through the website too. There's absolutely no pressure, and you don't need to contribute to keep learning.
What does direct support help with?
It helps us spend more time creating new content, improving the app, polishing new features and covering the costs of keeping FlashFox running.
Nothing important is locked behind supporting us. It's simply there for people who enjoy FlashFox and want to help us keep making it better.
